This 4,000sf (5) bedroom home in Old Greenwich, CT was beautifully designed with full insulated concrete form (ICF) exterior wall construction to highlight the many benefits of energy-efficient construction. With a HERS Index w/Photovoltaics of (27), this home met all the requirements of the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home including ENERGY STAR Version 3 plus the EPA’s Indoor AirPlus and DOE Zero Energy Ready Home Quality Management Guidelines and was accepted into the CT Zero Energy Challenge. The project was honored as a featured home on a CT-USGC Spring Green Home Tour, proving that style and sustainability can go together.
